Workshop „Identification of State Border between BiH and the Republic of Croatia and Other Trans-boundary Issues“
At the workshop organized by the Foreign Policy Initiative BH within the scope of the project „Engaging Parliamentary committees for EU“, FPI BH has presented an Analysis entitled „Identification of State Border between BiH and the Republic of Croatia and Other Trans-boundary Issues“. The workshop was held on September 16th 2013 in Hotel Europe in Sarajevo.
The Treaty on State Border between Bosnia and Herzegovina was signed on June 30th 1999, and still remains to be ratified in by the contracting parties every so often stirs the media attention in both countries. The presented Analysis aims at presenting the tremendous job that the representatives from the state institutions and experts from both countries have done to identify the boundary line, in order to prepare and conclude this Treaty and the relevant annexes as an integral part thereof. It also aims to instigate a discourse of all relevant actors within this process in BiH and to point towards possible solutions.
Workshop participants were representatives of the BiH state and entity parliaments, and other relevant BiH institutions. The analysis was presented and elaborated by Mr. Zoran Perković, FPI BH expert and analysis author. Other expert panellists on this workshop were Mr. Zlatko Dizdarević, Former BiH ambassador in republic of Croatia and Mr. Enver Kazaz, Professor at Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo.
The workshop was organized within the scope of the project „Engaging Parliamentary committees for EU“ which is implemented with financial support of the British Embassy in Sarajevo.
